Summary
VASCO Data Security is looking for a ‘Senior PR Coordinator’ to join its Corporate Communications department.
Responsibilities
- Develop and leverage relationships with vertical trade media, general IT media, security media and consumer media
- Support Director of Corporate Communications in global PR-related tasks, focusing on Western Europe
- Develop and coordinate PR actions in key countries
- Take part in external networking activities
- Cooperate with Communication Manager for successful product launches
- Performance will be measured against the quantity and quality of relevant coverage
Profile
- You have a Bachelor or Master degree
- Three to five years of public relations experience
- You have experience in working with agencies, experience in IT is an asset
- Strong networker
- Significant media and industry analyst contacts and successful track record for proactive media relations
- You have excellent written and oral communications skills in English. Knowledge of other languages is an important asset.
- You are able to brief internal spokespersons for interviews, speaking ops etc
- Copywriting skills
- You are a team player
- Result-driven
- Willingness and capacity to travel
- Sensitive for cultural differences
